School is DONE

Well another 10 months of school has gone by and I have completed grade eleven and that means just one more year of sitting in a boring classroom listening to people talk and take notes. Overall this year was pretty good and I actually found that it went by pretty quickly but I tend to say that every year of high school. And I don’t know if its just me but I find high school goes by so much quicker then when everyone was in elementary school. Anyways this past semester I had course that were a bit harder like accounting and math but I also had some that I really liked like computer business and also media studies. I completed my last exam yesterday which was nice and my summer vacation has officially started (I just wish it was longer then two months) but I hope all the other students like me have a great summer! Talk soon!!

Wonder Woman – MOVIE REVIEW

I just went to the theater today to go see Wonder Woman and it was such a great movie! I really like all the DC movies but this is probably my favorite so far. It tells the back story of how she actually became “Wonder Woman” and it was really neat to see. Now I’m really excited to go see Justice League this November!

Oh and sorry this is a short review and that I haven’t posted in a while I’m just really busy with exams!

Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.

Winter despises her stepmother, and knows Levana won’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend, the handsome guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long.

Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters? Fans will not want to miss this thrilling conclusion…

Demi is Back (Sort of)

If you have been reading this blog since the very beginning back in 2013 you all know who Demi is, for people who are new readers you are about to find out. So originally this blog was called Demi & Alek’s Grotto and Demi and I where the ones who ran the site but eventually it just became Aleks Grotto because Demi was busy with other things but now she is back on the grotto (sort of). So Demi launched her new website called Demi’s Book Den so we agreed that every month at least one of her posts about books would be featured on Alek’s Grotto. So every month there will be at least one post from Demi about books and maybe some other things, and if you miss one of her posts don’t worry you can just visit her website at http://www.demisbookden.wordpress.com. Her first new post on this blog will be coming very shortly!

Dynasty – Reboot Talk

Recently I was looking at what all the channels ordered pilots for in the 2017 – 2018 season and I came across that The CW was creating a “Dynasty” reboot. Now I have never seen the original series but so far I’m getting really excited that they are going to make this reboot because the show looks like it’s going to be really great.

I know back in 2012 they did a reboot of “Dallas” and that lasted three seasons I’m pretty sure and from the previews that reboot does look really good and even though it got cancelled and I know it ends in a cliffhanger I think I might still go and watch it. Does that sound dumb?

But anyways I’m really hoping that The CW does pick up the “Dynasty” reboot for a full season and not just the pilot. If there are any updates I shall let all you guys know!

Grandma in Town :) = :(

Well my greek grandma just arrived in town yesterday which is nice and all and *sometimes* it can be fun and it’s nice to see her every once in a while but it can get kind of frustrating. Mainly because she always puts blankets over every single couch in the house, like I don’t understand why she would do that cause she is already wearing pants (obviously) so why do you need to put blankets down every time you go and sit and also get up. I think everyone in the house honestly hates it (you start to slide off the couch when there is a blanket on it). Does anyone else’s grandma do this because I honestly find it super annoying (lol)! Anyways have a good long weekend and happy easter. (my grandma is really nice but this is a pet peeve of mine)
